Manifestation vs. Meta-Moxie

Manifestation, the belief that we can attract our desires through visualization and belief, has long been a topic of interest and discussion. However, there is another element that often goes hand in hand with manifestation, which I like to call “meta-moxie.”

In this blog post, I will delve into the concept of manifestation, explore the power of meta-moxie, and discuss how combining the two can unlock our true potential. I will also touch upon the significance of neuroplasticity, the growth mindset, and the self-fulfilling prophecy in our journey towards accomplishing our goals.

Manifestation and the Power of Belief

At the core of manifestation lies the belief that if we genuinely envision and believe in our goals, we have the ability to attract them into our lives. The practice involves visualizing and embodying the reality we desire, fostering a mindset that aligns with our aspirations. By immersing ourselves in the belief that our goals already exist and are within our reach, we tap into the power of our subconscious mind to manifest them.

A classic example is if we aspire to become a millionaire, we must not only believe in our ability to attain wealth but also adopt the mindset and behaviors of a millionaire. Successful people often attribute their achievements to the power of manifestation. It’s not merely about spending money extravagantly but about embodying the mindset that attracts abundance.

This practice has been endorsed by philosophers, spiritual leaders, and successful individuals alike such as Eckhart Tolle, who emphasizes the significance of believing in our goals before they manifest.

“If you want to manifest something, you have to start with the foundation [that] manifestation is always the present moment. It’s not the future,” Eckhart proclaims during one of his teachings.

Meta-Moxie: Unwavering Determination and Resilience

While manifestation is a crucial element in accomplishing our goals, there is another factor at play that is often observed among hyper-successful individuals — something I like to call meta-moxie. Meta-moxie can be described as a combination of motivation, perseverance, and brute force determination.

To illustrate this concept, I’d like to tell you the story of Ramy El-Batrawi, a billionaire entrepreneur whom I recently had the pleasure of meeting. Ramy fully embodies the idea of a business tycoon — he owns a jet, multiple mansions, fancy cars, practically everything. But his lifestyle wasn’t always as opulent.

Ramy’s journey began when he ran away from home at the age of 12, driven by his ambition for success. He wanted to move from Canada to New York, where he planned to start building businesses. He lived in his car for years, facing multiple setbacks, including financial losses and bankruptcy.

Despite experiencing setbacks, including bankruptcy, Ramy’s meta-moxie allowed him to overcome challenges and ultimately achieve billionaire status.

Extraordinary Circumstances: Meta-Moxie in Action

In some instances, the combination of manifestation and meta-moxie becomes instrumental in overcoming extreme challenges.

Imagine someone getting imprisoned overseas for a crime they didn’t commit. Faced with an unbearable prison environment, this person decides to escape, a goal that seems impossible. However, through the potent combination of unwavering belief and tenacious action, he manages to achieve the seemingly impossible — escaping through a tunnel he had dug from within his prison cell, much like the iconic scene from the movie The Shawshank Redemption.

Neuroplasticity: Rewiring the Mind for Success

To comprehend the scientific basis of manifestation and meta-moxie, we must explore the concept of neuroplasticity.

Neuroplasticity refers to the brain’s remarkable ability to reorganize its structure, functions, and connections in response to stimuli.

I always like to say that the neurons that fire together, wire together. It summarizes the essence of neuroplasticity perfectly. When we consistently reinforce positive thoughts and beliefs, we strengthen the neural pathways associated with those thoughts. This rewiring of the mind empowers us to manifest our goals by aligning our actions with our desired outcomes.

Embracing a Growth Mindset

The growth mindset, as coined by Dr. Carol Dweck, is closely intertwined with the principles of manifestation and meta-moxie. Individuals with a growth mindset believe that their abilities can be developed through dedication, hard work, and continuous learning. They embrace challenges, persist in the face of setbacks, and view failure as an opportunity for growth.

In contrast, the scarcity mindset is rooted in a fear of inadequacy and a belief that resources, opportunities, and success are limited. Embracing a growth mindset allows us to tap into our inner potential, foster resilience, and cultivate the determination necessary to overcome obstacles on our path to success.

The Self-Fulfilling Prophecy: Speaking Your Goals into Existence

Self-fulfilling prophecies play a significant role in enhancing the effects of manifestation and meta-moxie. It posits that our beliefs and expectations significantly influence our behaviors and outcomes. By visualizing and speaking positive affirmations into existence, we prime our minds for success. When we align our thoughts, words, and actions with our desired outcomes, we amplify the manifestation process, paving the way for the realization of our aspirations.

Achieving Goals through Mindset and Action

Manifestation and meta-moxie are two distinct but complementary approaches to achieving our goals. Manifestation is about believing in ourselves and our ability to accomplish our goals, while meta-moxie is about putting in the hard work and persevering through any obstacles that come our way. By combining these two concepts, we can achieve anything we set our minds to.
